Meet the Dentist
Dennis Kuwaye Jr., DDS, FAGD
Hello! My name is Dr Kuwaye, pronounced KOO - Way and I am a proud Loma Linda University Graduate.
Being Born of Both Japanese and Mexican decent, Dr Kuwaye enjoys eating out and learning about new cultures.
Dr Kuwaye studied at the Seventh-Day Adventist Loma Linda School of Dentistry. The schools motto of "make man whole", he takes personally. He understands that as a dentist, patients trust you with their overall health and it is our duty to protect them and lead them to make the correct decisions. Though Dentistry is not a perfect science, Dr Kuwaye understands Quality is more important than Quantity, and he will do everything in his power to make a situation right. Never will you feel abandonded during your treatment. Dr Kuwaye has worked with dentists with 20-30 years of experience and has learned to incorporate some of the tried and true "old school" techniques with modern ones. Dentistry is changing each year, come and see the exciting things we can do.
I have also recently became a Fellow In Academy of General Dentistry. This means I take continuing care education very seriously and love learning about evidence based dentistry.

Dentistry is truly a passion of mine.
I’m an FAGD dentist! What does that mean for you and your family?
FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Fellowship takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. When you see a dentist with FAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. AGD Fellows practice these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year — not every dentist does this.

Dentists are often the first line of defense against many serious conditions that start in the mouth. And dentists who have earned Fellowship (FAGD) in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) go even further. Becoming an AGD Fellow means a dentist has taken part in some of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today. These dentists know about the most up-to-date technologies and procedures and care for your whole-body well-being. AGD Fellows make a commitment to care that goes above and beyond—they are pulling for all of your oral health needs. I’m an AGD Fellow.
